The Reserve at Evanston reviews and highlights
- Great leasing office
- Far from downtown Evanston
- Nice gym and pool
- Maintenance is responsive
- Guest suite that you can rent for $100/night
- Nice apartment floorplan and very friendly staff
- Bit more affordable than some of the comparable properties in Evanston
- Great in unit amenities (breakfast bar, in-unit washer/dryer)
- Good gym
- Apartments are clean and modern
- A little far from the bars, restaurants, and grocery stores
- Parking is really expensive (an extra $140/month)
- Management is quick and responsive to any maintenance concerns
Good Place to Start
A bit far from downtown Evanston, but this offers a fair 10 minute walk to the Jake. Maintenance is responsive, and the apartments are clean and modern. Additionally, only a one year lease is required.

Reasonable value for the location
About a 10-15 minute walk from the Jacobs Center, The Reserve was a bit more affordable than some of the comparable properties we looked at in Evanston. The apartment itself has great amenities (breakfast bar, in-unit washer/dryer), and we have a nice gym and pool. Management is quick and responsive to any maintenance concerns, etc. My only real complaint is that parking is really expensive; you can't get a street parking permit from the city if you live here, so you're stuck paying an extra $140 a month if you have a car.

Reasonable cost, close to campus
The Reserve at Evanston is about a 10 minute walk from Kellogg, and also about a 10 minute walk from downtown Evanston. Overall it has been a positive experience living here, the downside is walls are very thin and having noisy neighbors could easily make living here unpleasant. Management is fine and maintenance requests get completed quickly. There's a lot of other Kellogg students living here.

Neighborhood is also quiet as its a decent walk from the bars and other nightlife.
