Good apartment complex but lacks transportation connectivity

The apartment complex is very good, both the management and community. If you do not own a car, then biggest issue is the public transportation connectivity between Parc and Fuqua. There is no bus between 10am - 3pm, or 6pm - 6am. Also, there is no bus connectivity over the weekends. Additionally, this place is distant to all Fuqua activities

Great other than not sound proof

This apartment complex is quite residential, a lot of families with children. Apartments are wooden structure, hence not very soundproof - you can hear people walking upstairs. If your upstairs neighbor has an energetic kid or dog then good luck. Other than that the apartment is on the affordable side and it's very safe and close to stores and restaurants.

Also, you need to have a car to get to campus.

Nice place if you have a car or plan on pooling

Nice place. It's really safe. If you have a car, Parc is great as its only 5 minutes drive from Fuqua, and close to almost everything you will need. If you don't have a car, be prepared to spend 40 to 60 minutes on the bus, or money on Uber.

Parc is safe and cozy with a sense of community for all of us. We really enjoy our stay here! Mark, the leasing office manager, is super helpful and responsive!

Great experience

Overall, the experience was great. The apartment is close to many supermarkets and not far away from the school. The enviroment was beautiful and nice.

Drawbacks: you can hear people upstairs walking sometime. Also it's far away from most of Fuqua people's living area (9th street mainly).

A great apartment, but not close to campus

Location wise parc is close to the super Target store, Sam's club, bus stop for a direct bus to Duke West Campus, and Li Ming's, and a couple of other stores. The apartment facilities are really good. The people in the Leasing Office are very friendly and all your apartment problems will be looked at immediately. There is a swimming pool, gym, pool table, tennis court and desktops for internet and printing.

The problem is if you don't have a car, the bus commute is around 35 minutes and the buses are not available throughout the day.

This neighborhood is safe, quiet, and beautiful. Though a bit far from school if you don't have a car.
No issue it is a retirement community so there is no noise.

The neighborhood is clean and quiet. There are sidewalks and bike lanes around the area.
Its fine
haven't been in touch with anybody outside the apartment complex
As said, everything is closeby. The neighbourhood isn't bad
