Highly Recommend!

Lots of sunlight, great management/maintenance staff, & can't beat the location! They are currently in the process of re-doing a lot of their amenities (outdoor pool, lounge, etc.) but the projects should wrap up in a few months and I'm very excited to see the end results! They just finished the fitness center & library; I love both.

Good value

River North is very expensive. River North Park gives great value for the location. It's clean and a great location if you work in the loop. There's 24 hour front door service.

River North Park Apartment Review

River North Park is a wonderful apartment complex situated in the southwest corner of River North. We moved in to a newly renovated one-bedroom apartment with new marble counter top, stainless steel kitchen appliances and hardwood floors. I absolutely love the updated kitchen with stainless steel sink, GE built-in microwave with air vent and range. They have a beautiful secret courtyard with ample seating and fire pits for grilling in the summer. Management is wonderful -- look for Tanya!

River Park North

River North Park is currently renovating their apartment spaces to be more modern. In fact, we moved in to a newly renovated one-bedroom apartment with new appliances. I absolutely love the updated kitchen with stainless steel sink, built-in microwave with air vent and range. Their indoor swimming pool is what sold me the deal -- I'll be swimming a year round here!

Great Apartment for the Price

This is a great building to live in if you're commuting to the loop. It's very close to the highway, river, and lots of bars and restaurants. The best part about this place is the huge secure courtyard.

It could use some upgrades in the kitchen: it comes with no microwave, and the counters highest level of finishes are laminate. For being so dog friendly, it would also be nice if there was a place for dogs to go on the bathroom in the courtyard, seeing as there is no grass for blocks around the building.

Chicago living

Could be better but then again it could be worse. The location is nice but like most buildings in Chicago, it's an old building. There could be a lot of updates done. But nonetheless I find living there enjoyable. The management company is alright.

Cozy and a great location!

I have been living in River North Park for almost 2 years now with my husband. We both love our apartment. The windows are massive and the living room is extremely spacious. The best part is the location of the building is pretty central!

Great location, late 20's early 30's

It has a great location and very friendly management/door staff. Able to walk to work if your building is in the loop which is a huge plus. Dog friendly, has decent work out area with indoor pool and large open courtyard to grill/socialize. Only main gripe is that you have to use Dish as your cable company and then AT&T as internet provider. Also no washer/dryer in unit which is less convenient (but cheaper). In building dry cleaner, which is very convenient but also a bit pricey. Overall positive experience.

River North Park

Great location with some excellent amenities at a hard to beat price. The non-renovated apartments are a bit dated but that explains why the units are so affordable. The staff has always been pleasant and easy to work with as well. While there are certainly higher end buildings in River North, I would recommend living here for anyone on a budget that still wants a nice, clean place to live.

River North Reviews

Absolutely loving it! People are always out and about and it is a great place to enjoy with your friends! It is also close to a bunch of other great neighborhoods and so if you want to venture out, it is really easy to do so!
Great neighborhood with lots to do and easy access to public transportation.
We love River North. It doesn't feel as commercialized as Streeterville or the Loop while still being in the thick of it. We can walk to nearly anything we could ever want. We visit the lakeshore trail and riverwalk regularly. Lincoln Park is a mile away, but that doesn't stop us from walking to the farmer's market on Saturdays (also passing the one on Division and Dearborn along the way).
I can't think of any other neighborhood in the country with as many great bars and restaurants in such close proximity. I've lived here over a year and am still exploring new spot within two blocks of my building. The river is also two blocks away which provides for a fantastic place to walk or run. Only downside is there is no full-service gym in the neighborhood.. only boutique workout options like Soul Cycle.
It is very hustle and bustle but the energy is amazing! The dining options are 2nd to none and there is always something new to explore. The walking score of this neighborhood is 100% in my eyes - starbucks, jewel, whole foods, nail salons, walgreens, red line stop, bus stops, endless shopping, eye doctors, etc... you can literally walk everywhere you need to go.
So close to the loop, it's easy to get anywhere. All stations and lines are connected and are a short walk between each other, and buses are frequent with many stops.
It's a sort of business district, so you're in the middle of all the skyscrapers, but they're all beautiful and nothing seems to block out the light. The riverwalk is gorgeous, and is especially fun to walk along on summer nights. It feels safe and secure.
There are so many places to go out to eat, we're spoilt for choice. That said, the cost of living downtown is pretty high. As much as with any big city like Chicago, e.g. New York.
While there is a lot of street traffic, including slow-walking people tourists/suburbanites at their phones and trying to figure where they are going, the neighborhood has incredible amenities all within walking distances - Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Jewel all within three blocks of each other; plus incredible restaurants and bars running the gamut from packed and trendy to divey gems. Great mix of young professionals, young families, and a surprising number of retirees
Apartment is beautifull. They fix everything and deal with everything right away when its needed. It is beautiful. But where building located is very noise and it is very hard to deal with it when you come home very tired and waking up few times a night doesnt help the other day
