Rock Creek Apartments Review
Great management team. The building / apartment is a little run-down but there are renovated apartments in the complex that are available for slightly more rent per month. Onsite gym / pool and laundry room if you choose not to rent / buy washer / dryer.

Rock Creek Apartments
Rock Creek is great for how much you pay. My rent for a 2 bed two bath is only $860 a month; but this ends up being $895 a month because I rent a washer an dryer. The utilities run between $120 and $190 depending on the temperature outside, and cable/internet is about $90. So, all together the place ends up being about $1,100-$1,175 a month. From what I have seen in other apartments, this is not that bad for the size of the place. It's located in Carrboro, and is only about a five minute drive from downtown Carrboro and Franklin St. (the "main drag" of Chapel Hill), and about a ten minute drive from the majority of the UNC campus. Also, the place is pretty quiet, has a nice pool, and a pretty nice gym too. My only issues have been the amount of bugs (but, from what I've heard, this is a problem in most apartments), the appliances are a little old, and there are not a lot of windows. Still, I think the place is well worth the rent.

Great place to live
I have lived here with my dog for two years now with no problems. Management is good and maintenance is always prompt. I live on the top floor and I pretty much can't hear anything from other apartments. It's really safe too. I have left my keys in my door lock overnight and they were still there when I woke up. There's plenty of available parking, so no worries about friends getting towed when they come over. It's right on the J bus line so really convenient for getting to campus.
