Great apartment and management. Great location! It takes me 12 minutes to walk to Owen. The only downside is the parking, it is in a different building and since it’s free sometimes you have to park at level 7 and takes a while to get out of the parking. However, it is a very safe parking!!

Temporary, but no complaints

Not a bad apartment. A little small, but that is what you expect for a studio. No issues moving in and did not have to request any repairs ~5 months living there. Appliances are all new. Parking is included, so that saves $50-100 a month. Pool, Gym, and club room are in great shape. Pet friendly.

Parking garage is very narrow and is in a separate, but close by building. It is also nearly impossible to drive around rush hours due to location (broadway/ interstate/ one ways). It is a 15 min walking distance to everything (downtown, music row, Vandy, midtown)

Floor to ceiling windows, which is great for lighting but makes the apartment hot all at times of the day. If I am in my apartment, I have to constantly use the AC, which is probably leading to a higher energy bill.

Apartment is mostly concrete, which is great for reducing noise, but also make apartment depressing if you do not decorate it.

Skyhouse Nashville 4 month review

Since moving into Skyhouse, I've had an amazing experience. From the leasing agents, the front desk (Bob, is the best), included amenities, and overall quality of the apartment, I have been extremely impressed.

The lobby is clean and bright, with a free coffee machine and computer use. Packages are kept behind a locked door, and are retrieved from the front desk, so no porch pirates or whatever they would be in an apartment building.

The rooms are beautiful with great fixtures and appliances. I live on an end unit, and have very little issue with noise. I can't speak to those that live with neighbors on either side.

The top floor has a pool and sundeck, both great, quality, and clean; patio with grill and lounging chairs; exercise studio and demonstration kitchen, think a large room to rent to entertain a large party.

The attached parking is very secure, and their is ample space throughout all 7 floors.

Negatives:
Mandatory 'valet' recycle, someone collects x2 week, but not always on the scheduled days. I opt to take my recycling down to the basement, yet still have to pay for the service.

There are quite a few pet owners, and sometimes accidents occur in common areas, which is not the animals fault!

Also, the building does attract a crowd of mixed age individuals, but I feel it skews towards a more undergrad age level. Everyone has been respectful, which is nice.

SkyHouse is a great apartment building. It is a 12-15min walk to Owen. There are a lot of solid restaurants and bars within walking distance as well as a gas station close by and a very convenient dry cleaners for all your business casual. The gym and pool on the 25th floor are also great.

Love living here!

The biggest advantage is the proximity to campus. Its a 12 minute walk and right along the route for Bus No. 7 if you want to take public transport. The pricing is of course on the higher side but I thought it was a good deal considering the distance, safety and friendly management staff.
They also are very stringent about price increases - in hindsight i would have signed a longer term lease

Excellent apartment

Excellent luxury apartment, large rooms and nice appliances, has a beautiful pool, good gym, maintenance staff is quick to fix any issues (usually same day), pet friendly (has a pet spa with dog baths and blow dryers) and a dog pen behind the building. Have had some issues with car break ins in the garage which is unfortunately common for this area. Apartment is ~5 min drive from school, would be too far to walk in my opinion so need to have a car. If you live on the side facing downtown you get a beautiful full skyline view from your apartment.

Skyhouse is AWESOME!

I am so happy with my apartment and the amenities that the building has to offer. My studio is spacious (650 sq ft) with floor to ceiling windows and I have a washer and dryer in unit! The best perks include: free parking, awesome gym overlooking the city, a rooftop pool and lovely staff who work at the front desk. The other tenants are young, respectful, friendly and many of them have sweet doggies!

Nice Spot ~ 1.6 mi from campus

The apartment has very high ceilings and is very spacious. When I leased, it had a good sq ft to $ ratio and I am very pleased with it. A parking ramp is attached so you can park on your floor. Management is communicative, although some projects take long to finish. They have a Wi-Fi lounge, pool, pool table, smaller gym (smith machine), grills, fire pit, and a gated dog park/wash off station.

We love living here and being in Short Pump. Our only complaint really is having a fair amount of bugs in both units we've lived in on the property (which could be from living on the first floor). Leasing office is very friendly, it's a gated community needing keycard access, there's abundant parking, a nice gym and pool, a clean community, and right across from Short Pump Town Center.

Great place and apartments, annoying leasing office

4 management rating Reviewed by on

The apartments are all recently remodeled and it is done well. Some have a designated office space which is helpful and the entire set up feels pretty spacious. The leasing office is annoying and hard to work with, but that seems pretty normal.
