Apartment Review

9 management rating Reviewed by on

I really enjoy living in my apartment complex. When I transitioned into grad school I was stressed about where I wanted to live. A friend of mine had lived in this complex for a few months before I moved here, and she encouraged me to move out here. I have enjoyed my experience thus far and look forward to being in this complex for years to come.

Luxury apartments, very affordable

The management is fantastic, the facilities are new (and they keep renovating), and it is family-friendly. It is only a 10-minute drive from the Duke medical campus and I feel like the distance is worth the upgrade in the quality of living and affordability.

Spacious apartments with excellent amenities at a competitive price in the Durham/Triangle area. Located in South Durham (closer to airport), it is a 12-14 minute drive mostly on the highway to the parking garage on campus. Lots of green space and privacy as well as sidewalks/trails, but no restaurants/grocery stores/bars in walking distance.

great apartment, slightly removed from downtown

9 management rating Reviewed by on

I love living in this apartment complex. My apartment is very spacious and has a great open-concept kitchen and living area, with lots of windows and natural light. It's located slightly removed from downtown/midtown Nashville, but is still just 10 minutes driving distance from Vanderbilt, and very easy to get anywhere else in Nashville. Because it's away from downtown/midtown, it's a little bit quieter, and less expensive than an apartment of the same size and quality that you would find closer to downtown. Neighbors in the complex are very respectful and the property feels very safe, and is secured within gates with key-fob access to the buildings. Maintenance and management have always been very responsive and I haven't had any major issues in the year and a half that I've lived here. I think the only downside to this apartment complex is that there aren't many things around that are walkable, and it is across town from Vanderbilt, so having a car is necessary, but parking is free/included in rent. This complex is also very pet friendly, and has a small dog park area near the back of the parking lot. The management also frequently holds resident events (all of which have been virtual or socially distanced since March) such as paint & sip nights, local beer tastings, food trucks, door decorating contests, and furry friend events at the dog park. I highly recommend this apartment complex!

Great on a budget

Rent is very cheap for the Durham area. The apartment complex is high quality with lots of space too. Down side is it is a 14 minute drive to the parking garage. But you are close to Southpoint mall and not far from Chapel Hill.

Great complex!

I am currently a P4 and have lived at One Metrocenter since starting pharmacy school. I live in the largest one bedroom here, and it’s nice because I have an extra room that I utilize as a study. Management and the maintenance staff are so friendly and are always so helpful. I’m about a 10 minute drive from campus, cutting through the gulch in the morning to get to class made it an easy commute. I also like being close to the interstate so it’s easy to get around all over the city. It’s really nice being close to Germantown so you have lots of restaurant options to pick from when you want to go out with friends. There is also a Starbucks, and a new Dunkin’ and Chipotle basically right next door which make living here even better.

Your money really goes a long way here. I have a brand new very spacious apartment with 3 parking spots, free gym, and a pool. The apartment complex is quiet and in a nice area close to public libraries, the supermarket, and highways.

The only reason why I gave it 8 is because the apartment complex is 25 minutes from campus.

Great place to live, far from school

I love my apartment complex. I feel like I am close to everything except the parties at the heights. I am about 10 minutes from southpoint mall, 10 minutes from RDU-International, 9 minutes from downtown/the Bulls stadium, and 15 minutes from Fuqua. The only reason I am giving my apartment at 9/10 is because it lacks the community feel. It's quiet and family oriented with on-site dog parks. It's very new and maintenance is quick to fix any issues you may have. They also have a free valet trash-service. The only complaint is being far from Fuqua (for Fuqua Fridays) and far from the rest of my classmates. That's nothing an Uber can't fix though!

Nice area but rude landlords beware!

I have a service animal and regularly they would attempt to Bill me for a pet fee each month. Even though you cannot charge for the dog since he is my service animal. At one point because of him living with me they began claiming I would be evicted if I do not pay for him. Luckily after a lawyer was involved they allowed me to leave my lease free and clear.

Great Management

The management at this apartment complex is outstanding. Any time that I need something done in my apartment they get to it immediately. However, I have experience two floods and a broken fan - not fun. Appliances are way out of date and the amenities are not great for the price - however, it is a safe area and the apartments are huge.

Great price, awesome location, and free parking! Love the complex. Management is very friendly and prompt with responses. Close to lots of bars, restaurants, etc. Near medical district and cost is well below other complexes in the area. I highly recommend!

Great management and location

So far I've really loved living here. The management is friendly and helpful, they send me email reminders to pay rent if we forget before charging us a late fee. Plus it is a great price for being so close to uptown, but not inside it so we avoid a lot of the traffic and noise associated with that.

I am a young woman in my twenties and I feel safe in this building - which is VERY important. The gym and pool are nothing special. The aprtments are very large but also very outdated. Management here is amazing - they are always on top of any needs!

It is a decent place to live. The location is great with West Broad Street just 0.1 miles away. There a bunch of stores and restaurants just a 5-10 minute drive away.

Beautiful apartment, but not the best location

8 management rating Reviewed by on

The amenities are great (bamboo floors, stainless steel appliances, w/d in unit), but it's not in the best area of town. There are some restaurants and bars nearby, but most young people live and go out in the Fan. Make sure you see your exact unit before renting- I was surprised to move in and find that one of my bedrooms doesn't have any windows!
