About the apartment
The best apartment I'm lived in at this price.
The community director is always kind and helpful.
Solana Apartments Review
Very nice and friendly property managers. I haven't had any issues yet so I am not sure how responsive they are if something is wrong. The units are clean, washers, dryer, microwaves, dishwasher, and fridge are all included, there are hardwood floors, it's dog friendly, and I feel really safe here. It is somewhat pricey and I was disappointed in the fact some things are not included in the rent, for the price it costs to live here. Water and trash is the only thing included in the rent, and you'll have to get gas and electricity in your name. Deposits are pricey if you pay upfront. But you get a nice balcony, and corner units get "private" stairways, which you share with one other tenant above/below you. It's surprisingly nice but hard to get furniture up and down. There is a nice BBQ/lounge area, a nice pool, and really nice little gym. Plus there are a decent amount of shaded/grass areas for dogs to use. No dog park, but a lot of dog poop bag stations. There is covered parking and some units get private garages. It's been pretty quiet other than the freeway noise, which you're literally living right next to. The surrounding area seems nice and I can walk my dog down the streets. Depending on which units you're in, you can get a pretty view of the mountains but I have noticed some units don't seem to get much sun through the windows. Lastly, it is about 17-20 minutes way from the school.

Very good place. Only problem is that you'll get a shared room. But I couldn't make a better choice
Diplomat Apartment Review
Great property - rent controlled, pet friendly, with easy access to NoHo, Studio City, Hollywood (close to 101 and 405, and Metro Red line)
Ameneties are solid - pool, community grill, small weight room with 2 treadmills (but only 1 set of adjustable dumbells), sauna
Management is alright - they're generally pretty quick to resolve work orders, but are sometimes slow to respond to emails and non-emergency requests
Good Experience
I love my apartment complex and have had a great experience so far. There are a lot of homeless people in the area, but we have 24/7 security patrol and I have never had any issues.
Good place to live but management is a pain
Really close to law school! One of the few places with w/d in the unit that is so close to school and isn't crazy rent. However, when we moved out, the management was a pain, and we had to fight for our deposit. They also did not respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner. We had our A/C unit go out and I would live in the library until it was fixed.
This complex has 2x2s with one in-suite bathroom and high ceilings.
