Como Park

Boasting Natural Beauty and Suburban Living
Those looking for a mix of natural beauty, suburban living, urban proximity and wealth of amenities should look no further than Como Park. Less than 5 miles from downtown Minneapolis and 3 miles from the University of Minnesota, Como Park is conveniently positioned for easy access to the bustling city or nearby institutions. Despite being a suburban area, Como Park has a good level of walkability, with some shops, restaurants, and parks within a short walk, enhancing the quality of life for residents in the area.

When it comes to dining and activities, Como Park doesn’t disappoint. The area is known for its renowned Como Park Zoo and Conservatory, a local favorite amongst families, nature lovers, and tourists. Como Park is serviced by the public bus and light rail system, and offers several bike friendly routes for those looking for a more active form of transportation. Housing in the area is predominantly single-family homes, ranging from charming bungalows to larger, modern properties. The neighborhood is suburban in nature, but caters to a broad range of needs and preferences, and combines natural beauty and a convenient location to make it a sought-after neighborhood.

Como Park — 8.5/10 Rating (based on 2 neighborhood reviews)
I love the Como Park neighborhood! We're right next to the park (which has a zoo, a huge amount of grass space and paths, and a lake). The neighborhood has a lot of cute houses and is also nice to walk around. They just put in a very nice bike path on Como Ave as well.

Great area with a lot to do nearby in Roseville. It is a quick walk to Como park, lake, or zoo which is nice for a free afternoon. My only qualm with the neighborhood is a lack of a convenience store, and stores in general, in walking distance.
