Great place

The Corners at Crystal Lake is a nice place to live. The apartment is spacious and comfortability fits myself and guests. The location is great where the Wake Line can come through, however since it is on Reynolds with no security gate, there are often people just walking around.

Overall Good

I have lived in my apartment for 1.5 years and have enjoyed the convenience of the Wake Line trolley, proximity to grocery stores, and the people working at the front desk are friendly, helpful, and respond quickly to needs. The apartment size is good for one person, and I have not had any trouble with neighbors. The complex offers many community events as well. However, there is little patrol of the residence and people have gotten their cars broken into, and I had my catalytic converter stolen. This is out of their control, but a concern.

Terrible

From the outside the place is amazing.

Once you start living:
you notice. . cigarette smell , rampant package theft , breaking into cars and the leasing office will do nothing about it
You get what you pay for and you won't find what you are looking for here.

Avoid this place

This was a very poor experience. Do not believe the nice photos on their website - they are incredibly misleading and you need to tour in person. The only reason I lived there is because I couldn't tour apartments in person and the price was lower - there is a reason for that. My apartment never stopped smelling of smoke from the previous tenants. My smoke detectors had issues and were so outdated that I think they were illegal (wired not battery and the manufacturer had been out of business for 10+ years so there was no preventative maintenance). The neighbors were incredibly loud and some were slightly creepy. I didn't feel safe walking to and from my apartment to the parking lot. On the bright side it is close to WFU and has a bus stop!

Cheap and does the job

Not fancy but a solid option to just have what you need and nothing more.
