Beach/Country Club vibes
Nothing but good things to say about The Mark. I feel like I live at a country club.
We have unbeatable views of Brickell Key and the cruise terminal/the water in general. Apartments are spacious and modern (although mine was renovated). Building management is aggressive/run a tight ship. Amenities include a tennis court, multiple grills, a racquetball court (country club to the max), a pool that you can do laps in, a sauna, a gym (with insane views) and a club room (also with insane views). Attached is a restaurant and a bar that is well-regarded in Brickell.
FYI: My roommate owns the apartment (and his family bought it at an opportune time) so while I pay $2100, I don't know what the monthly mortgage is and how much of it I'm paying towards.

Great place to live
Great apartment with amazing view. The location in the heart of Brickell makes everyday commute very convenient: MertoRail is 10 min walk and Uber/Lyft takes you anywhere for $10-15. The only minus is ongoing renovation of the pool area that makes it noisy during the day time.

Great Apartment
The Mark is a great apartment that includes several perks:
1) there is a restaurant downstairs called Crazy About You that is very popular as a dinner / drink spot
2) the view in many apartments is great
3) management team / building is strict but very good at what they do
4) gym downstairs which is decent
5) good value for the living conditions and view
Downsides:
1) there are (preliminary) plans to build an apartment building in the parking lot across the street, which would disrupt the great view that half the apartments enjoy (this is why rent prices are relatively low now)
2) construction on renovating parts of the building has been slow (months to renovate the pool)

Brickell Reviews
All that said, this is still a developing neighborhood and hasn't yet reached maturity. Many units remain unoccupied, owned by foreign investors or foreigners looking for a pied-à-terre in the US (as in, they don't even rent them out!). Many restaurants are empty most of the time and turn over all the time, and while there are some great high end places, a lot of the more mid range offerings are highly commercialized designed in a boardroom type places with mediocre food and not the owner run small neighborhood joints that would give this neighborhood charm and character. It is definitely a highly walkable neighborhood, but not as walkable as it could be because of the condo "country club in the sky" kind of development with big pool complexes and huge parking garages. There are positives and negatives to that, but on street level it means less real estate for bars, stores, and restaurants. For all these reasons, people seeking a true urban environment will probably prefer Miami Beach or Coconut grove, even though the high-rises are far taller in Brickell. All that said, i think this neighborhood will continue to mature, with more full time residents moving in as people around the country discover what it has to offer.
