Perfect apartment in the perfect location.
This apartment's location is right where you want to be. Across the street from Scott's Addition with a ton of local breweries and restaurants. You can walk to the Squirell's baseball game or the movies at Bowtie. You're also close to a ton of great restaurants and your friends that live in the fan and the museum district. It's city living but with a modern apartnement of short pump. The apartment has ton of amenities like a gym, pool and hot tub. I love my apartment and although it's on the expensive side, it's well worth it! It's also very secure with a key fob security door at the building entrance and gated parking too.

Great place to live, but not everyone will be your age
Cookie Factory Lofts is super nice and brand new (just opened in September 2014 following renovations to the original cookie factory itself). It's at the very edge of the Fan on the corner of Broad/Boulevard, which is really close to the interstate to get to work, but not as close (~1.2 mile walk) to many of the popular bars/restaurants on Cary Street. The apartments are spacious and are great for hosting your friends before/after happy hour. Amenities include a pool and a huge common area with an open deck where you can host more people than you could invite. The downside is that there are quite a few older people (anywhere from 30-45ish) in the building so you won't make too many friends. The walls are also pretty thin so sometimes you can hear neighbors playing music, but it hasn't been a big issue for me. Overall, I'd recommend it to incoming people who want the things that you can't get in the heart of the Fan: high ceilings and square footage, a brand new kitchen with a garbage disposal, a pool, etc. If you want to be closer to bars/restaurants and are willing to sacrifice these things, then you should live closer to Cary Street instead.
