Good first apartment for young adults. Good location. Only 5 min from downtown. Cheap Uber or taxi ride. Free yoga classes. The apartments have very little storage, flooding, and minor electric issues. Easy fixes, but a pain in the butt. Outside area is nice. Never have an issue with parking.

The location for these apartments is amazing (very close to Congress, Downtown, and Rainey street), however the finishes are extremely cheap. The buildings are very old and have issues with leaking. The outside is very poorly lit which leads to safety concerns.

I LOVE this apartment complex. My neighbors feel like family. We are mostly young professionals with pets (no kids!). We have barbecues, happy hours at the close by Whip In, pool and progressive parties together. My cat loves most of the dogs in the neighborhood. We have a 2 bedroom 2 bath with the living room/kitchen between the bedrooms and I never hear a peep from my roommate. It's a GREAT roommate plan. There are also other varied floor plans to fit your needs. New appliances and wood floors. The apartments are brick and well insulated. We have not used our heater at all this winter. The only thing that could be close to a drawback is that there's community laundry. I had never lived at a place with community laundry before and was dreading it BUT you can get 4 loads of laundry done at once! You save **loads** of time. I consider it a plus.

I've lived at the Algarita for a year and a half now, and it's really a lovely place to be. It's very close to downtown and to the highway. The surrounding neighborhood is lush, quaint, quiet and beautiful. I do not regret my decision to live here!!!

Algarita Apartments are in a great location in the Travis Heights area of Austin. Less than 5 minute drive to South Congress where all the restaurants and bars are. The Whip In is a 30 second walk from the property if you like craft beer, live music and fusion cuisine. The staff in the leasing office are so great along with the maintenance on site. We have been living there a couple of months and have had no issues at all. The apartments are lovely inside and the property is in great shape. I really enjoy living her with my husband and new puppy. I would highly recommend this property is you are new to the Austin area as they also offer social events every month which is great for getting to know people. Awesome community overall.
