Fantastic Building

I love this apartment. For Manhattan, it's HUGE and has plenty of closet space. It's a doorman building and the staff is very friendly. The kitchen is a galley, not open, but is bright (window and light) and has tons of cabinet space. The trade-offs are no in-unit laundry (there's a large laundry room in the basement), no outdoor space, and no gym. It's a cat friendly building, but new tenants are not allowed to have dogs. The location is perfect, steps from Central Park and between the Columbus Circle trains and 56th and 7th (NQRW). It's a 10-15 minute walk from door to class.

Location & space trumps all!

We moved in a little over a month ago and have overall loved our new apartment for 2 main reasons: the location is unbeatable and the amount of space is much greater than any other NYC apartment (at the current price point).

Steps away from Whole Foods, Central Park, Coffee Shops, Restaurants (albeit expensive in this neighborhood, thanks tourists!), and Subway stations (both the train and the sandwich shops).

We were able to also get a one-month concession which brought our overall price down and made the place worth it.

Our kitchen is a separate alcove and the living room is very long and spacious.

Basic Elevator / Doorman High Rise Apartment in a Great Location

The lobby is nice but the hallways are unrenovated. The laundry room in the basement could use better and more machines. The one bedrooms are pretty spacious. The location is very convenient and close to most subway stations as well as Columbus Circle / Whole Foods. No gym on-site but there is a concierge service that will do your dry cleaning for you.

Best location and easy access to subway

Love the location and apartment. Super spacious one bedroom for a great price in an amazing location. Tons of closets and secure doorman entry. Within 30 seconds to the nearest subway line, and walk just a little more for a slew of more subways. Love the location next to Central park as well.
