I wanted to live in Alexandria because rent was much more affordable than it is in the city, but the area still has lots of parks, bars, and restaurants. This building was in the perfect location, less than a 10 minute walk to the King Street Metro station, and only a few blocks away from the restaurants and bars on King Street. There is also a park across the street and a Whole Foods a block away. The building itself is in good shape and the staff are very friendly. Because of Covid, we haven't been able to take much advantage of amenities, but the building has a gym, a pool, and a courtyard with grills.

The Meridian is right next to the King Street Metro offering amazing convenience. It is also next door to the best whole foods in the metro area. And, if you are an avid runner or walker it is the best location for running and going to the old town area only 20 minute walk away. The management is superb as they are always staffed and ready to assist with any need that may arise.

Large layout with tons of windows. It's a little hard to stay warm in the winter and no utilities are included, so costs can add up. Building staff are great - friendly and helpful. Convenient location to metro and Old Town - walking distance to both as well as Whole Foods. Pool is fantastic in summer.

This is a wonderful property managed by excellent staff. The apartments themselves are a little awkward in shape and size, but the facilities are beautiful. The location is unbeatable with a 20 minute walk to the water and a 5 minute walk to the King Street metro. Overall, this building is a great place to live and it is in a very safe neighborhood.

Great value in Old town Alexandria! Close walking distance to everything. The apartment complex is next to Whole Foods and the metro is around the corner! The building is also pet-friendly, and includes a nice pool, fitness center, and grilling area.

Beautiful neighborhood! So close to metro and Whole foods right next door! I feel very safe walking around at night and/or alone. Surrounded by government buildings. There is a beautiful green park across the street, perfect for pet owners! Walk to tons of restaraunts/shops on king street!

If you want to live in Old Town Alexandria at a good price with an ample amount of room, this is the building to be in. It has great amenities and a responsive management staff to all inquiries. The courtyard is beautiful with a pool and grill. The only problem is that the rooms themselves have awkward walls built it, but on the upside the building and neighborhood is very safe and quiet.

The neighborhood is fantastic in that it is close to both the yellow and blue lines for the metro, and it is close to vibrant King Street, which is packed with stores and restaurants. The building itself is a few years older than most, but that means the walls are thicker and it is quiet at night. The courtyard has nice grills and patio seating with a pool. Overall awesome place.

Meridian at Carlyle is very conveniently located near the King Street metro and the shops and restaurants in Old Town, Alexandria. The apartments in this building also have sunrooms which are bright and allow a lot of light in. Amenities include free coffee, front desk services, in-unit washer/dryers, a gym, clubroom, pool and a very nice courtyard.

This building is beautiful and located in a very convenient location in Old Town - close to shops, as well as the metro station. Amenities are excellent, as well, including a pool, courtyard area, free coffee every morning, gym, clubroom, and front-desk services.
