Great apartment

I have had a great experience overall. My studio apartment is a good size, and I love the large windows. Overall, I don't hear too much noise from my neighbors. Sometimes the leasing office can be hard to contact by phone, but it you are in the building or in the area, you can reach them in person.

often smells like weed in hallways and neighbors have been loud at times into the evenings. Convenient location though.

So far so good

Just moved in in July and while the leasing office wasn’t the most helpful the staff at the actual apt are awesome. Everybody is so nice! The location is close to campus and there are other kids in my class in the building who i can hangout with or study with given we all live here. Also close proximity to metro and grocery stores

Love my studio!

Love the windows that span the whole apartment and the newly renovated kitchen. Amenities include unofficial guest parking for free, gym, rooftop, and great front desk staff.

No Frills but Safe and Close

This apartment is a very safe complex that is usually very quiet and within three minutes walking distance to the hospital and medical school. This is a no frills apartment (older models that could use renovating). However it has everything you need, and they are very responsive to service requests. There is a front desk to receive packages. Rent includes access to a small gym in the building. Paid parking is optional at this residence ($175 per vehicle for outdoor parking or $250 per vehicle for covered). No in unit laundry (each load is ~$2 to wash and ~$2.20 to dry)

Nice for graduate students going to GW or Georgetown

While I had some prior issues securing this place in the beginning (issues with getting management on the phone because I was an out-of-state student moving to DC for graduate school, the 925 is a great place. It's quiet and the staff is helpful if you need anything -- 24hr front desk. Great location -- Foggy Bottom Metro Station and Bus stop, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, and a CVS all within walking distance. Right in Foggy Bottom, so close to Georgetown and the national mall and other tourist things. It's a nice place!

Convenient, friendly staff

The 925 apartments are super convenient (walking distance to campus, trader joes, whole foods, multiple gyms and restaurants). The staff is really friendly and helpful. The leasing manager is not the most helpful and can take a long time to get back to you. Also, the kitchens are in dire need of an update. I really enjoy my studio though. There are big windows that make it feel much bigger than it really is. Great closet space! The apartment doesn't have a gym/pool/rooftop (sad)

Very very expensive rent and they will raise it on you

Overall I have enjoyed living at the 925. I have lived here for about a year and a half. However, I would note that my apartment is really expensive for the condition it is in (1970s fixtures with appliance updates) meaning the carpet is really stained, tile in the bathroom is cracked, etc. What really bugged me was they raised my already really high rent even more. (Made me decide to move). Moving in was a nightmare with the leasing staff at the time (very unresponsive), but I think they have since been replaced. The gym has some equipment and the roof is wholly unimpressive (chain link fence and limited seating, they could improve this a LOT).

On the bright side they did install new laundry machines in the basement, and are slowly renovating rooms (although this has created some awful noise issues, but luck of the draw on this). My studio is VERY spacious and has two walk-in closets that are fantastic! Front desk is staffed 24 hours and they are all very friendly, they have also installed a key-fob system. Good location to GW and the foggy bottom metro. No rats, mice, bugs of any kind and big windows. Just wish the price was notes out of touch with the actual conditions of the apartments.

925 Apartments

The apartment is located on a quiet street with lots of greenery. It is a nice sized studio apartment with great windows, and I never hear my neighbors. Management is quick to respond to all maintenance requests and the common areas are always kept clean. The one downside is the gym. It is tiny and closes at 9 pm. Overall, I highly recommend The 925 Apartments.

No problems, but when there are issues, they respond quickly

I have no issues with this place. It's safe, there's always a front desk attendant, and I've never had any packages stolen. I would highly recommend it. Additionally, there isn't a lot of hubbub around the apartment, which makes for a quiet community.

Lots of pretty row homes, walking distance to many restaurants, grocery stores, and my school. Lots of trees and a dog park near-by. Overall, very pretty and scenic to walk through, and also close to other neighborhoods and essential stores.
I like living in Foggy, it's easy to get to school but also is close to Georgetown, which is fun for food and shopping. The northern part of Foggy (near GW) is about 10 minute walk to Dupont too, which is great.
Short walk to Georgetown, West End, and Dupont Circle. Many restaurants nearby and close to metro so you can get to anywhere in the city conveniently.
Nice to be so close to school. Short walk from the mall and other tourist destinations. Bar/restaurant/night life scene leaves a lot to be desired.
It is really close to campus so a lot of GW folks live here! You can reach a lot of places on public transit.
Edge of Foggy Bottom bordering Georgetown - very safe and peaceful!
I personally enjoy the quietness of the neighborhood and its location within a close walking distance of campus, Georgetown, the water, and convenience/grocery stores. The neighborhood is also very safe, I am a woman in my early 20's and I have never felt unsafe walking home late at night near my apartment.
Foggy Bottom is a great place to live given the proximity to the law school. It's also within walking distance of Georgetown and Dupont Circle which are fun places to go out with friends and classmates. It's also has lots of bike racks for the Capital Bikeshare nearby, and the Foggy Bottom metro stop is a few blocks up the street.
