Berkshire is Great for Students at UMiami

Berkshire is super close to the university, even at peak traffic times the drive is only about 10 minutes. I haven't personally used the public transit system, but it's only a couple blocks away from the complex. There's a very nice pool and sitting area around it. The gym is open 24/7, which is very nice, especially with a loaded schedule at the university. There's lots of windows, which provides ample natural lighting in the apartment. There's also ceiling fans and a lot of lights in general throughout the apartment, so you don't really need a lot of lamps. You also get to park on the level that you live on, so you can walk from your car in the parking garage to your apartment without taking the elevator, which is super great when you have to haul groceries inside. They accept pets, and they have a little turf area for them to go to the bathroom. They also have bag stations all around the complex, and it's always clean even though it's very pet friendly. There's a lot of space within the apartment, more than any other that I had looked at. Also, the management is very friendly and super responsive. They really helped when we were trying to get into an apartment with little time. We're also super close to Coconut Grove here, so there's really nice waterfront bars and restaurants in the area, and Target and Trader Joes are also super close by. Overall, it's a really great apartment complex that I would recommend to any University of Miami student.

Marisa

I enjoy the apartment's proximity to school, my favorite gym, the grocery store, and Merrick Park. The apartment is big and beautiful with great amenities. It feels safe and I am happy with my choice, while pricey for a graduate student.

not luxury or worth price

building is dirty, walls are paper thin, you pay $25 extra for garbage each month even though there is not valet trash service, building has bug issues constantly and management is so rude and unprofessional

Right next door to the apartment is a Boston Market (fast food), a chipotle , a chase bank, and a Pei Wei restaurant across the street begins the true Miracle mile, complete with countless restaurants, bridal stores, and a Barnes and Noble. There are plenty of food and shopping possibilities moments from the apartment.
not really close enough to walk effectively anywhere but great by car. on the edge of Grove and Gables.
Amazing views but plans to knock these older buildings down to build new skyscrapers
Coconut Grove is walking distance and we have many restaurants and stores close to us. The neighborhood is quiet and we have never encountered any issues.
Coral Gables is a nice, but sometimes expensive, place to walk and enjoy shopping and restaurants.
