Bell Flatirons
Good place to live, lots of amenities: gym, pool, hot tub, lake with kayaks available, walking trails. Mantience is just really slow.

Bell Flatirons
The amenities are amazing and you get a lot more space for the price than you would in downtown Boulder but it is a very large complex so they are pretty slow with maintenance requests unless you keep calling them. Overall, plan on living here all three years of school because of the price point and the location. Super close to grocery store, the mall, restaurants, and only about 15 minute drive to class.

Unfortunate, older development with Italian touches, from the Sopranos
I pay extra for water, sewer, two types of trash removal, electric, pest control, "recreation - pools and facilities perpetually out of order" Also pay extra for parking and for the privilege of being billed for all the above. Unfortunately, I had the same experience as many - I arrived to find an apartment and lease terms much different than I agreed to. If I hadn't been dealing with illness and death in my family, I might have declined the keys. I double confirmed that the unit had a bathtub.... no bathtub. And the apartment is old, I understand, but it is shabby and hasn't had any improvements in many years. Yet my rent increase is about three times the average rent increase for our area. And I pay over four times what a nearby single family residence pays for curbside trash pickup - with recycling. I am one person with a 400 square foot apartment paying over $40 for trash removal? Somehow, my electric bill is accruing some common area power, I can see it on my initial bill. I am paying an inflated rate for water. And the pool in my section has yet to open this year as far as I can tell. I have never received anything for the pest control fee or the fee I have to pay some other platform to tell me how much to pay with utilities. Sewer, water - over $30 per month? How is that possible? My move-in was forced to an earlier date, I really should have seen the red flags.

Bell Flatirons
The property itself has so much potential and is beautiful, but the management is poor. Maintenance is near impossible to have done, unless you fight and are continuously pestering for help. The physical apartments are pleasant and up to date. The amenities are good, however, the gym is constantly closing because of broken machines and needing repairs. The pools are great, but they too face lots of issues and are frequently closing. I do love Autrey lake, and it is very fun to have on the property. Overall, I would love to live here if the price was lower.

Best amenities I could find
The complex is like a little neighborhood which is cool! Super dog friendly (even though I don't have one, I see people with dogs all over). A little pricey, but you definitely get your money's worth.

Good amenities and apartments, slow maintenance
The Bell Flatirons has great amenities, including multiple pools, a walking trail around a lake, basketball courts, and a well-stocked gym. The apartments are spacious with fairly new amenities, including in-unit washers and dryers. The price is expensive, though that is par for the course in this area. Maintenance does a good job with repairs, but sometimes you have to wait weeks and contact them multiple times to get them to complete a repair.

A Solid Choice for a Law Student
I've had a good experience with the Bell Flatirons. The apartments are well maintained and maintenance has been responsive. Each unit has a washer/dryer and all the appliances are up to date. The gym is sufficient and there is a lake with a walking trail onsite, which is fun! The rent is expensive, but that is par for the course for this area.
