About fix

I’m a bit upset because my room is full of places that need repairs, and I don’t understand what the cleaning period in August was for. If repairs were necessary, I wish they had been fixed before I moved in.

Review of On-Campus housing

I really like my apartment complex. Since I work and live on campus and don’t have a car, this location is very convenient for me. However, I did experience some issues with communication at the start of my move-in process. In terms of the living space itself, my main concerns are the lack of air conditioning and a primary light source. While I was informed about the absence of air conditioning, I did not receive any communication regarding the lack of a main light source in the bedroom.

Not desired

At the Park River Apartments at the University of Hartford, we have a shared sink, oven, and bathroom, and between four people, nobody keeps it clean enough to be functional. The toilet often clogs and floods, and utilities break often. The walls are very thin and insulation is terrible. Additionally, I barely have enough storage space to be able to walk around in my own room. This is definitely meant to be temporary housing for part of a year for children and not a permanent residence for an adult. Additionally, there is no parking that allows for moving or packages or groceries.
