I "Survived"
The apartment is relatively spacious with its 2 bedrooms and a single bathroom. There are basic kitchen utilities such as a microwave, an oven, a refrigerator, and a stove. However, there are issues with repairs. The sink clogged during our first week. We contacted management multiple times to repair the sink, but they kept deferring the repairs since they said their repair people were busy / preoccupied. There are also discoloration on the walls as the paint peels. The appliances such as the shower, air-conditioner, windows, and refrigerators look very old - too old. The sound of a nearby locomotive train blares through the evening, which can wake up a light sleeper multiple times. There was also an issue where the apartment failed to switch the post box names from the previous owner, which causes errors in any shipments in important documents. The advantage is the place is relatively close to restaurants such as Taste of Thai and groceries such as the Whole foods and Asian supermarket. There is a bus stop, which is around a 5-10 minute walk from the apartment.
