During my time at this residence there have been a lot of issues. The biggest issue is the super is an aggressive man who lacks patience, and he's incredibly rude and lacks empathy. He also waited on me to leave when my mother was visiting, and came to my apartment to yell at her. The second biggest issue is that I live on the 5th floor of an elevator building, and over the past year, the elevator has been down at least five months. It was down three and half months consecutively the first time, worked for about a week and then was down the rest of the time. The department of building management shut it down this last time, and I believe the building managers had to go to court because of the lack of accessibility in this building. I also didn't have a stove for three weeks because the one I had triggered the carbon monoxide alarm, so the fire department shut my gas off. Working with the property management company to get this situation sorted was a nightmare, and despite the fact that I have called and email four different times they refuse to speak with me about compensation for those three weeks where I was unable to cook food in my home. They also refuse to speak with me about the issues with the super. Additionally, I've told them that I struggle walking sometimes, and they refuse to address that in light of the elevator being down and making accomodations.
