Close to school and convenience (grocery store, highway, etc.); nice neighborhood and community

I love it here
The community is quiet, and I would argue very safe. The maintenance here is wonderful, they fix issues so quickly and the staff is all very nice. Another huge factor for me was that there is no pet fee here, which is great. The only thing is that the rent changes quite often.

First time renter
So far everything has been great. The complex and staff are use to having students from the nearby law school which made the process of moving in a lot easier. There are always an abundance of parking spots and residence are friendly. Maintenance is quick and reliable, especially when there's an emergency. The apartment itself came clean with very little if any noticeable wear and tear, and the one I rent recently got updated appliances. AC runs good, electric bill is reasonable, and even in some pretty bad storms I have yet to loose power. If this is your first time renting this is a good place to start.

Maintenance sucks
When placing certain tickets if they don't want to help you they just don't. I have been complaining about my kitchen sink being clogged for 2-3 weeks and they just marked my maintenance ticket as completed but never came to my unit or even contacted me. The laundry also sucks, the washers are small and don't clean clothes well.

Great place to live
I genuinely loved my apartment in this complex. I have since moved out because of a crazy neighbor who lived above me. The management company worked with me and allowed me to break my lease a few months earlier. I ended up moving in with my boyfriend but if I didn't have them, I would have asked my complex to move me to a new unit, to get away from my neighbor. I have nothing bad to say about my time living here. I genuinely loved my apartment and it was so close to Widener, which was a huge plus.

Solid choice
Generally speaking this apartment complex is one of the nicest in the area for the price. A lot of places are pricey and while the rent may seem steep, it includes all utilities except for internet and electric. There are also cheaper units that are not upgraded that are more affordable. Keep in mind, laundry is only in 2 bedrooms/townhouses and not 1 bedrooms, but there are laundry facilities in the middle of the complex. There’s a pool and hot tub, gym, and the plan occasionally hosts small events like movie viewings. There are also fire pits and grilling areas in the back of the complex. Parking is free and the lots and driveways are freshly paved. Overall, a nice complex and I haven’t had an issues so far

The apartment is close to campus and other amenities in the area. The neighborhood is quiet and well-kept. Management is helpful but sometimes requires follow-ups to make sure things are done correctly.

Quiet place to live
I’m a big fan of my apartment complex. Obviously the price is a tad high but it’s worth it in my opinion. I feel safe, and it’s a quiet neighborhood. Only major complaint is that the leasing office can take a while to get back to you sometimes.
Other notes: laundry is only in two bedroom units or townhomes. There are laundry facilities for 1 bedrooms located in the leasing office. There is a pool and hot tub.

The property managers are very responsive and kind when you talk to them, and maintenance is fast with taking care of things that need to be taken care of. They are up to date on the property and improving things. The neighborhood is safe, and there are a bunch of activities on the property.

The model apartment they show you looks NOTHING like the apartment I received. The model has a completely renovated modern kitchen and bathroom. The one that I was given on move-in day is awful. The cupboards are from the 70s, and there are chunks taking out of the doors. The first day I moved in the garbage disposal broke and leaked water all over the kitchen. Underneath the kitchen sink the wood is all warped and moldy from prior leaking. This is a list of everything that needed to be replaced since I have lived there the past 2.5 years: The kitchen faucet needed to be replaced because it was leaking water underneath the sink. The ceiling vents had mold in them and they had to replace the entire heating system and clean out the vents. The vents do not look clean, they still looked moldy. I had to ask for them to replace with new vent covers that weren't covered in mold. After the heating unit was installed there was a flood in my kitchen at 930 at night when I go home because something wasn't installed right. The unit also was very loud and they forgot to put a cap on some pipe so that had to be fixed. The AC unit also went and that had to be replaced because the old one died. For two years I was fighting with the toilet always clogging - I had to clean up messes constantly from overflows. Eventually I said something to maintenance. There were tree roots growing up into my sewer lines and into my toilet. They had to go in with a tool and chop up the roots because my toilet wouldn't flush. I am not making this up. The place is a nightmare.
The lease when I moved in included free laundry. They switched over to pay laundry and the washers are constantly leaking and leaving puddles in the laundry room. I also took a picture of a cockroach crawling up the wall in the laundry room. The place looks pretty on the outside but it is all a lie. It's old and rundown and not worth the money that they charge us to live there without a washer and dryer in the unit. DO NOT rent here unless you see the exact unit you are moving into and are prepared for stuff always breaking. There have been multiple apartment and car break ins and management still will not put out cameras or put up flood lights so you have to walk in the dark around corners of buildings. I don't feel safe living there.
