The Vistas at Dreaming Creek (Grand Vistas)

Pretty quiet and safe. A few odd neighbors but management usually takes care of any big issues that come up.

The layout of the apartment is great, and the facility overall is nice. Appliances are older, but they work. Maintenance is pretty quick, even for things that aren't urgent. They are very adamant about people cleaning up after their dog, which is kind of nice. The property stays clean for the most part.
HOWEVER, the walls are incredibly thin. I can hear my neighbor snoring at night, and if I'm in the bathroom, I can hear them using theirs. When someone flushes the toilet above me, it is so loud that it almost sounds like there's water flooding into my apartment. I've lived in 4 apartment complexes throughout the past 7 years, and this one has the thinnest walls BY FAR.
Also, management didn't let us know when there would be loud maintenance in the building, like when they were installing new carpets upstairs. I would have made sure to be out of the house, if I had known. The banging and slamming was so loud that a picture actually fell off of my wall, because the walls were shaking so much. I thought that the banging and slamming was coming from the apartment directly above me. Turns out it was TWO floors above me. So again, there is basically no sound barrier in this place.

Bad things: There have been 4 domestic issues in my building in 1 year. It sometimes smells like weed, rarely even in our own apartment even though we don’t smoke.

Good things: Small and cozy floorplan. Pet friendly! Pretty calm and friendly people. I enjoy the gym. There’s no bar for bench/squat, but free weights and other machines. My wife enjoys the pool here.

I like it because I have a lot of space and the property is quiet and in good shape. I have had some issues with management there but not bad enough to make me leave. they recently got new people that seem better. I did have my car stolen out of my lot in 2021, and they didnt have security cameras on the property and were not able to find who did it.
