I have lived here for 3 out of 4 years of medical school. Reasonable rent when split between roommates has covered our 3 bed, 2.5 bath townhouse.
The neighborhood couldn’t be better. Historic and within walking distance to both the hospital and downtown areas. Other medical students and residents live in the complex too. 3 parking spaces per unit are provided in the front of each unit. Hookup available for washer and dryer (though in our unit, both came with the townhome). Laundry room has great storage and is located on 2nd floor. Control over AC/heat is private for each unit. Fridge, dishwasher, microwave, oven/range, and garbage disposal all included as well. There is a nice private patio out back off the living room and an adjacent storage shed. The living room is huge and there is a separate formal dining room.
As far as downsides go, the two bedrooms that aren’t the master are tiny and have small-ish closets. We’ve been able to make it work though because there are two additional closets in the downstairs area that can be used for extra storage. The kitchen is also a very small galley. Cabinet space is limited so we had to invest in a small pantry which fit well in the dining room along with a full sized table and a sofa in it as well.
