420 S Fess Ave Bloomington, IN 47401

The building is close to the law school (3 minute walk) and on a quieter street. The halls of the building are in disrepair, but it's a cheap price ($797) for being this close to the law school. The apartments themselves are nice enough, but there is no dishwasher and the shower pressure is a bit weak. The front door to the building is usually unlocked and anyone can break in through the fire escape. The only amenities included are laundry, water, and gas.

Stay away from pavilion if you can

I would not recommend Pavilion. They portray the company as a family owned business, but they are a huge property manager. I have had several leaks in my apartment that caused damage to the apartment and my belongings. My car was also towed from my lot despite my having the correct parking tags hung in the correct places on my vehicle. They refused to reimburse me. Also, the rent is outrageous to live in an old converted house, and the basement is full of black mold. The 5 star review would be lower if not for the very close proximity to the law school (which was meaningless during my 2L year when we were entirely online). I do like the hardwood floors and that my apartment has character, but dealing with pavilion has been an absolute mess. More problems: spricket infestation, flooding basement, the wall in my bedroom is fairly non-existent so you can hear everything in the apartment next to mine (and they can probably hear me), no closet space/storage at all, no in unit/washer dryer and the black mold situation requires me to go to a laundrymat, and we have radiator heating so it's either blazing hot or terribly cold.
