Little enforcement of noise/complaint policy
They do not handle complaints well at all - whether your neighbor is being rowdy or the smell of their weed is permeating your apartment, they just tell you go talk to them yourself, or call the police. Ridiculous.
I have a dog and I appreciate that comfortable living is hard to find with a pet, so access to the courtyard has been very nice, BUT because there is no enforcement/repercussions for complaints, you have to deal with other peoples dogs sometimes barking incessantly. There was one weekend a small dog yapped (two floors above me) on and off in 20 min increments for a full 36 hours. I reported it in person, online, even brought the front desk person out to listen, all I got was a shrug.
We’ve gotten two emails this semester asking people to clean up after themselves when they puke in the hallways...
Generally the hallways and especially the stairwells are dirty. The trash can outside the ramp exit is overflowing and spilling out everywhere 75% percent of the time.
Management has changed 5-6 times in the last year, but so far the switch to Granite has been more stable.
Nice office people. Place is furnished well.
Package pickup is only available during business hours unless it fits in your mailbox.
Key fobs mean you have to always physically go let people in - I lived right by the main door so not a big deal, but if id lived on another floor it would have been such a pain.

Management changes often, frequently smells like weed
Doesn't seem "well taken care of", probably due to management changing frequently. Dirty hallway carpets and stairwells, trash strewn over the grounds from overflowing bins. No enforcement of the noise policy - you're on your own to talk to your neighbors if you have a problem. Good for dogs since there are two safe courtyards. The pet policy is the only reason I live here, since I could get a way better value across the road at Riverfront apartments.
