Small, Getting Pricier, and a Bit Far
An 18 unit building. The walls are thin-ish, and parking is no longer free (though I am grandfathered in). It's a decent amount of space for a couple, but prices have also risen considerably for new tenants. It's fine, but it is best if you have a car. It also stays above 80 in the winter because of the building controlled heat. Also only 2 washers/dryers is not enough for 18 units.

Waterhill is worth the walk
Waterhill is a great neighborhood away from the undergraduate/party noise. It's a nice place to walk and just 12 minutes to the coop grocery and Sparrow market in Kerrytown. Management fixes things very quickly. The apartments have great natural light. Some of the fixtures and cupboards are dated, but for a warm, clean, pest-free apartment, this place is priced very well for Ann Arbor. I feel I'm paying a lot less for a better apartment than I could get closer to Ross.

Great Residential Apt
801 Miller Apartments are located west of town in a quiet residential area. It's nice for those that want to get away from college-y parts of town. There is also a large park with an entrance right behind the units. It's great if you have a dog. This place is a bit of a hike to campus (25 min) but there is a bus stop right outside. That being said, it's nice to be in walking distance of downtown for days/evenings when parking might be an issue.

801 Miller
The biggest thing Ross students want to know is this apartment is a 35 minute walk to Ross. I love the neighborhood though - full of trees and peaceful compared to around Ross, and just a 12 min walk to the coop and Sparrow market downtown (for groceries). It is warm in winter and cool in summer. No mold or pests and so far neighbors have been pretty quiet.
