Good Livin'
There's one main drawback to living in this apartment complex, and it's that many, many other people live here. That has the effect of repairs that aren't urgent taking a looong time to be completed. Backlogging, and all that jazz.
Other than that, it's pretty nice. CofC is like a 20 minute drive away, but the CARTA bus system can also take you there fairly quickly. Gas stations and food places are abounding and within (a relatively short) driving distance. Everything you could possibly need is within (a relatively short) driving distance. Things are pretty quiet around here, but at times, there are voluntary community get-togethers. Also, there's an ice-cream truck (if you grew up in somewhat poor areas, you know how good the ice-cream on these things is).
Don't count on running into anyone who looks like they're in their 20's around here, though. The people here are either in their 30-40s or are teenagers (or younger) with little in-between. Mainly families live here. But, I mean, do you really *want* to live in a college town? With all the rowdiness and no grocery nor convenience stores besides, maybe, an overcrowded CVS? I don't, personally.
