Lakeview East 3-Story Walkup
I live in a 2 bed 1 bath with one roommate in the Lakeview East neighborhood. The rent cannot be beat and I love the neighborhood. We have tons of space get tons of natural light. Appliances are a bit outdated, but totally functional. The building is a 3 story complex with appx 9 units in my address. We have a balcony space, access to coin laundry, and are steps away from the lake as well as fantastic shops/restaurants on Broadway.

Lakeview East 3-Story Walkup
I love living in Lakeview East. The neighborhood feels a bit more homey than Streeterville, but there's still lots of shops, bars, and restaurants. I also like having the separation from campus, but Streeterville is so accessible via the express CTA bus #146. The apartment itself is on the older side -- older appliances and radiators, but is large, gets great natural light, and rent is much cheaper than Streeterville. It also has those homey details like arched doorways and wood paneling!
