It's a nice middle ground apartment (not too much, not too little). Apartments in this building are very spacious, but it's an older building so it lacks some of the more modern amenities like in-unit washer/dryer and some apartments have a washing machine (we got one halfway through our lease). It is not very wheelchair accessible (no elevator). Amazing neighborhood though (quiet, with many parks, restaurants, etc.) as well as good accessibility to the city. A great middle ground option for proximity to the city as well as Loyola.
Another point of consideration for living in Oak Park is parking. You're required to purchase an annual permit as well as a 3-month overnight permit depending on where in OP you live. Annually this will cost $400+
