The Gates
I live on the 2nd floor at the Gates with a roommate, and I have had a good experience so far. The location is mostly great (I'll get into this later), the apartment is comfortable, and the parking garage is a welcome feature. Management is friendly and has been responsive to handle any issues so far.
My only complaint is not an issue with the apartment but with the location. It's a very mixed bag. Being very close to the Williams-Brice football stadium, it is nearly impossible to do anything but attend the football games or stay at the apartment whenever we have a home game due to the horrific traffic. This issue is only compounded in October with the State Fair. However, as a USC medical student, I have been able to attend football games with free student tickets, and I have decided to make home-game Saturdays a mandatory (and welcome) break from studying. Otherwise, the location is superb for my needs.
