Terrible insulation and noise control

While the cosmetic look from the outside and even the interior of the apartments themselves are better than most in the area, they take cheap cuts for insulation and noise reduction. You will hear every dog bark from surrounding apartments, and every step taken by your upstairs neighbor. Stay away if you like quiet mornings, days, and nights because tenants DO NOT respect how thin the floors and walls are... Claims to be a smoke-free community but will commonly find blunt roaches from disrespectful tenants that will blast music and gather loudly at all times of week and night. Will not be renewing the lease and absolutely cannot justify the price paid for shallow quality.

Fine but overpriced

The apartment is nicely laid out, and there are several perks to living there: access to the Montour Trail and the T, a small but nice gym, a pool, community events, an abundance of free parking, and a very pet friendly atmosphere. However, the quality of the apartments, which include nice upgrades (like granite countertops), sometimes falls short - for example, significant drafts, thin walls, and poor insulation. It is clear that corners were cut in the construction of the property.

Additionally, the location is far from nearly everything, and it is more time consuming to get into the city than other parts of the South Hills (even though you have access to the T - it is at minimum a 55-minute commute if you use public transit). There has been talk over the last two years that commercial space (including a possible grocery store) will be appearing on the property, but there has been no sign of construction.

Even with these less-than-ideal conditions, management has continued to significantly increase the price to the point where there is no financial benefit to living so far outside the city, even though that was one of the main attractions of the property.
