I did not plan on spending this much in rent when I was initially looking for apartments but when I came and visited this place I decided that it was ultimately worth it! With the amount of money spent on the T passes and purchasing/renting furniture and the amount of time it takes to commute from different areas of the city I figured I would ultimately be at a better advantage even with the higher rent prices since our school is just a 12 minute walk from the building :)
I live in a multi unit apartment but the building also offers 3-bed, 2-bed, 1-bed and studio apartment options! Currently my spa floor plans is one of the least expensive units in the building. This building offers a lot of great services and it has made living here extremely comfortable. Aside from being fully furnished including all kitchen appliances and utensils, it offers amenities like in-building laundry room, 24-hour concierge service, a community kitchen and a community bar, multiple hangout places around the building to hangout with friends/family. (A little heads up: the laundry is conveniently located in the lobby floor but it does work like a laundromat so you pay $2 for each cycle!) It also has study rooms for private work/study sessions as well as bigger rooms for a larger group to meet. The management hosts lots of events for the residents including happy hours on Thursday, breakfast on Mondays, and often invites outside hosts like wine & paint artists, work out boot camps, yoga instructors etc. for the residents to enjoy. Often times they are free and some times they will have a $10 fee due to limited availability. Aside from this the rooftop offers amazing views and it’s also one of the hangout spots in the building. The apartment is located conveniently next to a Whole Foods (although to save some money I sometimes shop at other places!) It’s located in a great neighborhood with cafes and restaurants. There are a couple of dog parks around here if you have pets along with other residential buildings too (if you would like to check those out!) There’s also a hotel next door if family or friends visit or if they’re helping you move in! After learning that some of my classmates also live here we started having more classmates hangout at the building from time to time and it has led to three more of them moving into the building. This is a very new building that just opened up in April 2022 so it’s in great condition! They do maintenance checks from time to time and if there are any issues with something in the apartment that either doesn’t work or stopped working properly it is very convenient to put in a work order and they take care of it within a few days! The leasing office is great at communicating with the residents and their friendly nature really helps new residents settle in better. Due to a diverse renting population I have met residents from all kinds of age groups, cultures, cities and work/study fields. With the amount of time I need to spend studying and the downtime I need in return, having a place so close to school has been amazing! If I need to go to other places around the city there are orange line and red line stations at a short distance walk and lots of bus lines & silver line running through our little south end neighborhood. I would definitely recommend checking out the building and living here!

The only negative thing I have to say about the apartments is that they don’t have a ton of storage options so if you own lots of stuff like me it might feel a little cramped! However it’s def worth the trade off considering most places in the city are not super spacious!
