I am fortunate enough to have an accommodation near to my department and workplace. The facilities provided within my apartment is really good. However, I wish for more sunlight and access to natural light.
The best thing is all my delivery gets delivered at the main office tower.
The housing management at the Jayhawker Tower is friendly and responsive at all times.
Overall, I like my stay at my current apartment.

Perfect location
The Jayhawker Towers is ideal for people who want to be on campus, within walking distance to all of the buildings. The apartment is a great size for 2 people, nice kitchen and decent bathroom. I enjoy the brick walls and the cozy feel inside the apartment. Rooms are pretty insulated and you can't hear your neighbors which is great. Maintenance requests are inconsistent and it's hard to get things fixed right away.

Safe place, but pretty expensive
Pros
- accessibility to other buildings on campus (but this is undermined due to COVID since I took most of classes in my room through online)
- all other cost such as water is included (but it was still pretty expensive for me)
- feeling safe since it is on campus
- Clean
Cons
- as a graduate student, it was not the best option for studying since I could often hear other residents having parties or some gatherings especially for weekends.
- I’ve been told it is renovated buildings, but there were several facilities to be fixed throughout three months.
- Considering all of things mentioned above, I still think it can be pricey for three and half months (one academic semester) compared to options outside campus.
- Plus, I have lived on the first floor which prevents me to open the window fully.
