Advenir at Magnolia- Fern Park, FL
This apartment complex is pretty quiet, and so is the area its located in. It's not the cutest, but for being on a budget, you can make the inside feel very homey.
I'll start with the good things. Management is great and so is maintence. They respond to your complaint quickly and they don't just do a quick fix. Also, I love the perk of trash vallet, because from what I've seen there's only one dumpster and that is all the way on the other side of the complex. There are two pools in the complex, one right next to the leasing office, and one near the backside/opposite side of the apartment complex. There's a 24/7 gym that you can enter with a code. Kind of small, but if you need a quick work out it does the trick. I don't have a bug issue, even with a patio.
A few things I dont like about it is that, the walls are thin and that goes for sound and smell. I can kind of hear my upstairs neighbors arguing, if they are yelling, and I can smell my next door neighbor smoking cigarettes. When I first moved in, the apartment smelt like straight ciggarette smoke, I had to ventilate the apartment. That is another con, it seems like they used to allow tenants to smoke inside the apartment and about a week or two after I moved in they sent out a letter saying that it was no longer allowed, but some still do it. The lighting in the apartment is also not the best. I live on the first floor and there is no ceiling light in the living room or in the bedroom. I'm not sure if that's how it is on the second floor. I depend on sunlight and lamps, so it never feels bright enough. The appliances are pretty up to date, and the building isn't falling apart.
Overall it's not too bad for a place that I just come to study, rest, and enjoy my time. I can say that it's definitely not $1500 worth. It definitely should be a lot cheaper.
