Great!

Great location to law school and downtown, the Burnhams are great and friendly. Maintenance is fast, place is relatively quiet, majority of packages go to leasing office. They have quiet hours from 11pm-7am (I think) and will actually enforce them if you need them to. Only downside is if you have an upstairs neighbor who walks heavily, you can hear every step. I've lived at Burnham 2 years. The first year I did not hear anybody upstairs at all, but this year the new tenant doesn't walk, they thunder.

Getting too expensive.

Overall positive experience. Rent is going up about 17% for next school year though. If it wasn't my last year I would look elsewhere. Too expensive for a student.

The Burnhams are the best landlords you will ever have! Apartments are so nice, and they care so much about their residents. The maintenance staff is great as well, friendly and quickly responsive.

Burnham Apartments- 320

I love how spacious the 1-bedroom apartment is; however, the rent cost and parking fee is quite steep. The apartment is not out-dated, but it is not updated enough to charge $1,200 for rent. Also, management charges $700 for the leasing year for a parking space if you choose to opt in. The parking near the complex is very limited, so you would be forced almost to opt in. The biggest benefit of living in my apartment is the 3-minute walk to the law school.

Great apartments, close to law school

My building is a five minute walk from the law school and Kirkwood Ave. It is relatively new with great upkeep. The rental company is very responsive with maintenance requests and extremely helpful with any other issues that come up. Before I moved in, the unit was thoroughly cleaned and repainted and the carpet was replaced. I have a one bedroom, one bathroom apartment with in-unit washer/dryer. There is garage parking available under the building for an additional fee. Electric and water are not included, but are usually under $100 per month. It’s a great location and a great building.

Great 1BR under 5 min walk from law school

The apartment is amazing. There is in-unit washer dryer and dishwasher. Maintenance requests are handled quickly and the owners are so nice and helpful. There is a quiet hours provision so you never have to worry about noisy neighbors. Sidewalks and steps are shoveled promptly when it snows. Covered parking garage is additional fee. No complaints at all, I will be living here my entire time.

Great apartments close to campus

These apartments are great! They are a five minute walk from the law school, so it’s very convenient to everything on campus or on Kirkwood. The rental company is very helpful and prompt in fixing any issues I’ve had. The apartment was very clean when I moved in and it had fresh paint and carpet. I pay a yearly fee for parking in the garage below the building. The apartments all have a washer/dryer. There are 1, 2, and 3 bedroom apartments in this building. Water is paid through the rental company (approx. $12/month) and electric is paid through Duke Energy.
