Great Place to Live
I've never had any issues living here. The maintenance staff is very responsive, I've never had packages stolen, and I rarely ever hear my neighbors. Most people here own a dog.

Great downtown location!
Stockyard Lofts has been a wonderful way to immerse myself in Knoxville. It’s 8 minutes from the law school, and within walking distance of a bunch of restaurants and things to do downtown. It’s right next to the train tracks and doesn’t have the thickest walls so if noise isn’t your thing, it may not be a great fit. Otherwise, I love Stockyard!

Downtown Living
New luxury apartments (finished early 2022)! Pricey for sqft, but you pay for the location. Walkable to everywhere (35 min walk to UT, 5 min walk to Gay St.). Apartment managers are nice and respond quickly, especially to maintenance requests. I appreciate the locked doors and underground parking.

Bruce Wayne's Penthouse Apartment
Nothing short of top of the line. I am the first person to live in my unit. All appliances are brand new. I live in the master bedroom which has 2 sinks and a closet the size of a minivan. There is a pool that is frequented by beautiful women. Most of the people that live there are late 20s or early 30s. Right behind all of the old city bars for whenever you need a beer after a day of accounting class. Also in the middle of 2 pizza places.

Would recommend
Parking is expensive and low options for taking your dog out. Though, overall I love the location and apartment.

Paying for Location
Living in the old city with secure parking is worth the price

Not worth it
I love living downtown and near school but the apartment itself is overpriced, small, the construction of the building is sloppy, walls are thin, and neighbors are inconsiderate. Dog owners do not pick up after their dogs even when they make a mess in the hallways which is very common! Also the management is very lazy. Rent is also going up. I love my apartment because it is modern construction but it’s not worth all of its problems, I will be moving.

Stockyard Lofts
Very updated, brand new building. Management is great. Beautiful modern apartments, studio, one, or two bedrooms. Parking is extra but it is in a secure garage under the building. Cool pool and building amenities. Right in old city, a 2 minute walk to common spots for LMU students, and a <10 minute walk to the law school.
