Good apartment for families, cost friendly option for roommates
Our experience has been good overall. It takes about 35 mins to get to Howard University College of Medicine if you leave around 6/6:30am, and 45 mins to 1 hour with traffic getting back in the evenings depending on what time you leave. The apartments are spacious, uptodate and more cost friendly compared to those closer to the med school. It's in a great location that is family friendly with parks and walking paths nearby, as well as grocery stores, restaurants, and shopping are close by. It is a gated community with elevators. You have access to free lot parking or you can pay to park in the garage. There is also a gym, movie room, great room with dining area and pool tables, business center, and pool with outdoor grilling area. The only issue we've had is with parking late at night or on weekends when people may have guests over taking up spaces. Otherwise, it's been great.
