The Connection at Athens

It's a fully furnished apartment that offers roommate matching. It's a bit further away from campus, but all stores you would ever need are walking distance from this place. They offer an hourly shuttle to campus during weekdays, and an hourly shuttle to and from downtown at nights. The management is responsive. There are a few swimming pools, a basic gym, and a club house. They also organize events every other week where you can meet other residents. The dishwashers are a bit primitive, so you'll have to get used to handwashing.

My experience is great. Everything is well managed. However the apartment is located quite far from the college and it is hard to manage without car. Although a shuttle is arranged by the property owners at a regular schedule but still there is a lot of time wastage that happens because of the difference between class and the bus schedule

The Connection at Athens

The Connection at Athens has gone through a management change this year, and they are great. They are very responsive and consistently ask for resident's opinions. I enjoy living at the Connection because it is fully furnished, in a quiet area, and close to Publix, Aldi, and Target. The apartment area is clean and has a newly repaved basketball court, a newly renovated gym, multiple pools, a volleyball court, and a dog park. The apartment has its own storage space and walk-in closets.

The only con about living here is that it is a drive from campus, but the apartment has a bus that runs to and from campus throughout the day.

Apartment is nice, Management not so much

The Connection is only about four miles from the law school, is across the street from a Target, and down the road from several grocery stores and restaurants. Comparatively, my rent is reasonable for all of the amenities that are included. I've had a really positive experience living here, and there are no glaring concerns.

Good apt with a gated community. Lots of amenities and comes furnished. Huge closets and lofted beds for storage underneath. Washer and Dryer in unit. Have a shuttle to campus but not as reliable. New management starting Aug of 2023 and all previous issues I have had for the last 2 years

I like living at the Connection. The amenties are very nice, and the apartments are spacious. Management is decent about responding to requests, and maintenance responds quickly.

Good, furnished property. Very close to Walmart neighborhood market and to the big target. 8-12 min commute to school. Biggest issue with complex is the gate being broken constantly and just open for everyone without using the fob. The closets are HUGE.

This apartment is a short drive from campus, provides 24/7 security, numerous amenities, and has on-site maintenance to assist with any issues. It has been a great place to live and continues to surpass my expectations for a college apartment complex.
