Great place to live, 5 min walk to hospital
I love living at 823 Press. I have rented here for 3 years in a row. Kim and Paula manage the property together and do a great job. Very responsive, all maintenance issues have been fixed in 24 hours. Parking is included. Laundry is communal for a small fee. Location cannot be beat and rent is competitive. Small building means a few quiet neighbors. Many med students occupy the 12 apartments. She is pet friendly.

Quiet, Walking Distance, Great Landlords
When my fiance and I started looking at apartments in Lexington, we wanted to be budget-minded with where we lived, considering our financial situation would change quite a bit in medical school.
We found a freshly renovated apartment at 823 Press, which was within our price range, and we have not looked back. Kim (landlord) and Paula (manager) are extremely responsive. Whenever we have had an issue like a leaky faucet, they have someone out in 24 hours or less.
When we decided to get a dog, they were more than accommodating.
I walk about 10 minutes to class every day, which is beyond convenient. On the weekends, we're within walking distance of downtown and the arboretum.

823 Press Avenue
Our experience at our apartment has been very positive. Most of the tenants in our building are graduate students in the health sciences, so the building tends to be very quiet, which makes for a great study environment. The units are small, but they are well kept, and our property manager, Paula, and the owner, Kim, are extremely responsive and helpful. If anything needs to be fixed, it is usually address within 24 hours.
The building is right next to a green space, so it's perfect for nice days and playing with our dog. Also, it's one block from the medical school, so I walk to school every day. It makes attending class in-person super easy. With quick access to downtown Lexington and Nicholasville Road, we feel like we're within minutes of everything we need. The area is also highly walkable, which makes going on runs and taking the dog for walks easy. We have always felt safe in our neighborhood.
