Civic Center Apartments

I like this building, it has parking on site and is secure. There are large windows, and in-unit AC and heating. There's laundry in the building, which is coin operated, but there is no machine in the building to get quarters. There is some street noise, but otherwise is mostly quiet. It is bike-able distance from campus. It is kind of expensive, but it is clean, relatively spacious, and has nice appliances.

I have lived here for close to a year. Since the beginning, the management company worked closely with me to move me in asap (as I had to break my lease at another apartment due to an abrupt divorce). They were always transparent about paperwork, pricing, and move-in date. Since I moved in, I have never had issues accessing the space, receiving my mail/packages, cleanliness of the place, or availability of laundry on cite. They manage the property very well: in winter the parking lot is plowed, other months leaves and debris is swept, lawn is maintained, carpets inside are vacuumed, and glass doors are spotless. I have lived in the Reno area for over 14 years (all over town) and am genuinely impressed with how well these apartments are maintained. Plus it is right in the heart of town, 5 minutes to UNR, and close to local grocery stores. Highly recommend the location and the service/management.
