Definitely needs to be updated/renovated. Nice/quiet neighborhood

So Hi is very conveniently located, parking is easy, and a lot of medical students live in the area. The rowhouse is spacious and covers all the basics. It's not the most modern/updated, but it meets basic expectations and is maintained well. Our landlord is responsive and reasonable, and the rent is actually affordable on a student budget.
The neighborhood feels very suburban - and there's not much within walking distance. You definitely need a car or at least a bike to get to any commercial areas.

Spacious, well-lit apartment

Good experience at an affordable price. Very bare bones and not renovated at all since it was built (old cabinets, all carpeted no wood flooring, old bathroom tiles, cheap washer/dryer, moth balls smell), but it gets the job done. It's old but clean and well kept. The landlord is very responsive to urgent needs, and the location is the best part. I care about convenient location more than luxury, so this is a great option on a student budget.

The master bathroom and kitchen need to be re-done before another tenant moves in

Our 2 bedroom has a spacious living area and dining room, perfect for shared study space and hosting friends. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom and closets. Appliances are older but the kitchen and bathrooms are recently renovated with a working dryer and washer. Located in a suburban housing complex with a 5 minute commute to the school, very nice for walks! Management can be intense, but they respond quickly.

Great for M1s

The building is old, as are the carpets-there is a lot of dust in them and some cracks/stains on the walls/paint chips which have been there. The landlord is great about fixing anything small that comes up.

Amazing 2 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom townhouse in Society Hill (Piscataway, NJ)! Perfect location in a safe neighborhood that is 5 minutes from the medical school and 10 minutes to RWJ-New Brunswick Hospital. The townhouse has newly installed hardwood flooring and painted walls, spacious kitchen and living area, and lots of storage. The landlord is very responsive and reasonable. There is also access to the community tennis court, basketball court, and swimming pool. I have lived here during all 4 years of medical school and have thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I would highly recommend this townhouse!
