There's little issues but nothing that would make me move out overnight
Overall the experience has been good, but let's get down to the nitty gritty. It's a pet friendly environment, but there's no dog run/fenced in play areas. Also, there's an issue with lots of pet owners not picking up after their dog(s) and also not complying with the leash policy. I have two small dogs (12lbs each), so the apartment has plenty of space for them to run around and play inside. The washer and dryer are outdated so even with maintenance cleaning out the vent and "fixing" the dryer it still takes about three hours to dry a normal sized load of clothes/towels. The walls are kinda thin; more or less it's the ceiling if you live on the bottom floor (could just depend who your upstairs neighbor(s) is/are). The management team as people are really nice and as long as you're not having problems they are great. The moment you have problems it's a 50-50 chance if they're going to be responsive and helpful or if they're going to ignore you and kind of give condescending responses to your emails. I think part of the management issue could have to do with the actual property owners because we've had a lot of changes and construction going on. Along with construction there's been changes to policies such as how you're allowed to decorate your patio/porch. Less than year after living here I had to completely take down everything that made my patio really cute. I used to get daily compliments (including for management) on my patio. Things I had to take down included outdoor lighting (fairy lights/ bulb lights whatever you wanna call them), outdoor curtains that were more for looks than anything, and also outdoor decorative lanterns because what was the point in having them if we weren't supposed to turn on the light component. Many people did comply with these changes although I can say many people still have not and still have things hanging such as plants and decor. I'm not sure if there's been a change, if these people have been fined, or if management just is not going to address it until the owners make them address it. I think the change in policy was ridiculous and I have no clue if people moving in now are being asked to comply with these policies or if it's been changed again. However, I think it's something to note because I know many people moving in would like to have a cute little outdoor space and I'm not sure that's completely possible here. On a positive note I do think we have a really nice pool. However, it's currently under construction. It also appears that there is going to be lots of outdoor seating and hang out spaces, as well as cooking areas. By the time my lease finishes I will have lived here for two years. If it wasn't for wanting to save money and wanting to live with my significant other I would stay here another year to finish out my schooling. A lot of these problems don't affect my daily life, but little annoyances can add up overtime. Overall there's nothing that has made me just want to drop everything and move out. If I was moving to Oxford again and looking at different apartments I think this is one that would still be on my list, however I'm not sure if this is the one I would pick now. I would definitely still tour it and compare it to other places in the area. This could end up being the perfect place for someone.

Cambridge Station
So far I have loved my time in my apartment. The units are worth the cost, the commute to and from campus takes 5 minutes max, and the environment is very calm and relaxing. Definitely a great place to consider.

Cambridge Station Review
Regular problems with account being properly charged. Hopefully resolved.

It's alright
While units have been upgraded, they are mostly for aesthetics. Personally, my door to the outside has wide spaces that let insects in and the heat/air out. This winter has been surprisingly cold in my unit leading me to believe that it is not insulated well.
Also, the cable is included in the rent, but for the life of me, I can't get it hooked up to my TV.
There is a gym on the property, but it is quite small. There are almost no machines and only one bench for the free weights.
With all this in mind, the staff is so friendly and helpful. There's ample parking and it is a short drive to campus or the square.

All Around Great Place
I love living here. Management and maintenance workers are kind and responsive. I appreciate the upkeep of the apartments. They recently installed a backsplash in the kitchen. Pets are welcome. Wifi and cable are included with rent.
There are not really any nearby bus stops, but it is only a 5 minute drive to the University. It is in a somewhat secluded area with other residential properties around. So there is not a lot of traffic on the road, which is nice.
My only complaint is I live on the bottom floor and have had loud upstairs neighbors.

Great Community
Unlike almost every other apartment complex in Oxford, most of the residents are adults and the college students are mostly graduate students. Here I don’t have to settle for the idea that “it’s a college apartment, you should expect and accept partying and people around you being loud.” Maintenance is always very attentive when I have a problem and the office staff are kind and also attentive to any problems.
