Faulkner Flats

The property is well maintained with good/ helpful management. As a law student, it is helpful that the property does not feel too populated by undergrads. I have never had to deal with excessive noise. Any time I have needed maintenance, which is not often, they have been proactive and fixed the issue within 1-2 days. There is not always enough parking which can be difficult to deal with. Additionally, having close access to the walking trails is a great perk.

The property is nice, quiet, a little expensive for what it is though.

It’s a fine place to live, they’ve just increased the rent over $400 in the last 3 years. The gym is pretty mediocre, and lots of people don’t clean up their dogs poop. But there is a trailhead to the south campus trails right at the back of the complex, so that’s really convenient and nice. It’s just a lot more expensive than it should be.

The apartment is great and I have had no problems. I have a garage which is nice. But rent will be increasing to $1,850 a month next year. This does not include water (average $20 a month), electricity (average $80 a month), and WiFi ($55 a month).

Maintenance quickly addresses any problems that are reported. The quality of apartment is excellent. The complex was originally full of young families, but recently has started to fill up with undergraduates. Great quality but pricey.

Nicely laid out building with standard amenities-pool, exercise room, grills, club house, study room with printers and computers-plus a few more unique ones-car wash, dog park. HOWEVER, the clubhouse and study room are only open M-F 9-5 and Sat 9-1, not exactly peak usage. Given that nothing is included in the rent (even pest control is an extra monthly fee), there's not much value for the money. EVERYTHING is done digitally and staff have little to no flexibility when the technology glitches. Overall it's quiet, clean, and well-maintained, which is important, but there's also a lot of nickel & diming given the high base rent in the first place.

It's a really great complex. With an older crowd. Lots of law school students. Only about six minutes from the law school.

Faulkner Flats is an excellent place to live. I have had no complaints.

Great place

The management is quick to respond if there is an issue with an aspect of the facility. I feel very safe and the amenities are fantastic. It is very close to campus.
