Great urban apartment building

The Graystone is a well-managed building with well kept-up apartments in a nice urban location. I live in a 690-square foot studio with a separate kitchen that has new appliances. There is an elevator in the building and communal laundry (a bit outdated). No pets are allowed but many residents have emotional support animals. The residents are friendly and the resident managers are responsive to tenant needs. The location is convenient to Lake Merritt, Whole Foods, Downtown, and the Grand Lake neighborhoods. It's not far from the 51A and 6 buses, a 20-minute walk to the 19th Street BART station, and a 5 mile bike ride or 15 min drive to campus.
