The place is tiny but is in Gold Coast so for the price its reasonable. Nice new amenities. The building is a little old but decently maintained. A little load around the building some nights, lots of bars and such nearby. Liveliness of the area is a pro and a con. Close to the lake which is nice.

I have had a really positive experience! The property manager is kind and responsive. The building is in the center of many bars/clubs, restaurants, grocery stores, FFC gym, etc. SO walkable! It is close to the red line and many buses. I am able to also have my cats in my apartment. Fee waived for emotional support/service pets. I know others have a dog. Overall, love the apartment and building, which is why I have stayed for 2+ years. It can get a bit noisy on going out nights. Oh and maintenance is free and responds honestly within a day or sometimes same day. The maintenance man is so kind/helpful! I feel safe. There is no door man but I feel safe. There is a card key to the building and the apartments. If you get locked out you can get a free replacement around the corner.

Great location near the red line, grocery and pharmacy. Further from campus, but easy commute on the L. Building is well maintained and generally pretty quiet (is near several bars, and the lower floors can be loud at night). My apartment is a 200sqft studio with an updated kitchen and lots of storage. Doesn't get great light.

It's a small studio apartment, even for just one person. But location is great and BJB provides decent WiFi and DirecTV for all tenants included in rent. Only utility you have to pay for outside of rent is electricity. Depends on which side of the building your apartment is on, but you can have great city/lake views or be looking at an alley/wall. You're paying for location more than anything else.

You can't go wrong with this location and the spacious units. Been here for a while and plan on staying as long as rent holds steady. Kitchen is spacious and all appliances are nice and in good working condition. Outside of building and hallways are well maintained.

This property is good. You pay for location, which is the gold coast and being two blocks from the beach. I enjoyed both. I lived in the heart of the Gold Coast, which provided both entertainment but lots of noise. My studio apartment was cozy and comfortable for one person, you would be crammed with two people.

Fanestra is very nice and cozy with spacious rooms and high ceilings. However its lacking closets. Its not enough storage space in the apartments . They have laundry machines and dryers in each unit. I would like to give an advice who plan moving about high noise levels outside the buildings. There is fire station nearby which makes extremely loud noise 24/7, also traffic noise is quit disturbing . Another negative part is not very caring management which doesn't really care about certain resident's requests . Positive side is the location . Close to the metro , restaurants and movie theater. I wouldn't extend my contract there for the next year though .

Fully updated studio apartments in the best location downtown. Prime location near the lake, shopping, dining, nightlife and more. And the price cannot be beat in this area. The building management is very responsive and helpful. Overall a great deal for a great location.
