Indian Lakes Apartments

Apartments of recently been refurbished well, the kitchens have been refurbished. But they are older. Another hit is there’s no sidewalks. Overall, it’s a very good location very close to all amenities, very safe, a lot of cops, and first responders live here. If I had to choose again, I would choose it again.

Having car is important

The rent is cheaper than other places when it is split with a roommate. The apartments come unfurnished. It is about a 10 minute drive to campus from Mishawaka. The complex is located near the Target and Walmart so shopping is convenient. Overall I have a nice experience at Indian Lakes. My only complaints is the thin walls and the internet can be slow at times. Our apartment faces the woods and is in the middle of others so there isn't much sunlight.

I’ve lived at Indian Lakes for three years and I absolutely love it. It’s reasonably priced, maintenance comes the same day they’re called, and the other tenants are respectful and typically quiet. As a female living alone, I feel very safe here.

Indian Lakes is three miles from campus, so it's necessary to have a car. I like it because I get a lot of space for a good price and a peaceful atmosphere. The apartment is a little dated but very clean. Maintenance is very responsive, and the grounds are well-kept.

Community is safe, price is resaonable, management responses fast. Cook and heated by gas, and gas is free! The only utility you pay is electricity. 3 min drive to Walmart, Target, and more restaurants and groceries. 15 min drive to ND campus. Yes you have to get a car to live here. Internet is a little bit lousy but usable. Overall recommended.
