Great living experience but pricey
I really like it here! The apartments are spacious, there is lots of natural light, and the amenities are great! The management and maintenance team are also very responsive. The only downside is that the apartment is one the pricier side, especially since practically no utilities are included and parking is expensive.

I really like the Brix
It has a lot of amenities (pool, new appliances, big gym, clubhouse) for the same price as other apartments downtown without the amenities. It a bit further from school, but still walkable (which I do). You have to pay for parking, water, electric, and WiFi separately. Water is always very cheap, with two people it’s about $20 a month. The apartments are super nice/luxury for a reasonable price. Every apartment also has a balcony.

Great Apartment
Definitely expensive, but you get what you pay for-- it's a great property. Great amenities, very responsive management that is on-site even on the weekends, and free coffee in the lobby.

Great apartment for 2 years
I have been living here for 2 years and have greatly enjoyed it. The best things about the complex are the pool, fitness center and location to downtown. As a student, I appreciate the business center (for printing) and the conference rooms in the lobby for getting work done. Also love the complimentary coffee that is always in the lobby. Management is great and maintenance is also excellent. Any problem that we have had in terms of maintenance has been handled quickly and efficiently. Maintenance staff is extremely kind. Office staff is always willing to help work out problems.

The Brix at Midtown
Worth the high price tag. Has luxury amenities and is a safe and clean building located about 1 miles from the Secchia Center.

We love the brix!
We love our apartment! The rent is kind of pricy for GR ($1600 for about 720 square feet 1bd/1bath) but if you're splitting it with a partner it's very manageable. It's only 0.8 miles from the Secchia center so I walk to school year round and it only takes me about 20 minutes. You could not ask for better amenities (pool, gym, free coffee in the lobby, etc), management is super responsive (even if you get locked out they come unlock your apt within ~15 minutes), and the apartments are really nice. About 60% of the time we can find a parking spot on the block in front of the building. The other 40% of the time we park nearby, but never more than 3 blocks away. You can also pay for parking, I believe it's $150 /month.

Great apartment complex
I really enjoy living at the Brix. My favorite amenities are the gym, free on-tap coffee in the lobby, community space (which I use for studying and meetings), and pool (in the summer). It is less than a mile walk to my school (takes about 20 min). I feel safe in this neighborhood and really enjoy walks/runs through downtown and the Heritage Hill area.
The management is awesome. They are always very responsive to any problems or questions that I have (either via phone or email). Any maintenance issue that we have had had been addressed in a timely manner.
The complex is pet friendly, which I can appreciate because sometimes I can pet cute dogs that are out on the sidewalks or in the lobby. However, people do not always clean up after their pets outside, and the elevator usually smells like wet dogs on a rainy day (not my jam).
I often hear my neighbors walking around above me, and it sounds like they have a rather large dog - this can be annoying if I am trying to work or sleep. However, that might just be something that comes with living in an apartment.
Overall, I really like living here and would recommend it!
