Good Location and Sq Footage for the Price
This apartment is super accessible to campus (~15 minute walk to HSC). It’s got a decent amount of space for the price.

Copperfield Court Apartments
I have had a great experience with Metro. I put off getting an apartment and was scrambling to get something situated by the time classes started. CC's normal move in date in the fall is August 15th but I was able to get an early move-in date of August 5th. If you reach out early, you will have an even easier time. My boyfriend, cat, and I have plenty of space and the extra bedroom makes a great office for studying. It's about a 15 min walk to HSC so I didn't have to buy a parking pass/just pay to park in the Mountaineer Station if I decide to drive for some reason. Metro has a bunch of properties near the hospital/football stadium in CC is not available.

Not too shabby
This property has a good location to the hospital and parking is usually easy to find. You get a good amount of space for the price. The utilities and aesthetics could use some updating, but they’re functional and manageable. Overall, a good budget apartment for a student.

Nice location but experience could be better
I've lived in this complex for over a year now but between 2 different units. My first apartment here was a complete mess. The bathroom ceiling leaked multiple times and my neighbors were extremely noisy. They tried to take nearly all of my security deposit for damages that were related to the leaks they couldn't repair or from general wear-and-tear (which is prohibited by state law). Luckily, my new apartment in this same complex is fantastic. My neighbors are quiet and courteous and I've had no issues with the apartment itself but my fridge leaking a little. It's within walking distance of HSC and the football stadium, making the location worth it but just beware of the issues with your security deposit -- document everything upon move-in with videos/photos and hold them accountable by asking for a walk-through when you move out. I was able to get it all back but it did take some strong-arming.

Overall Incredible
I have lived at this apartment since coming to Morgantown. Although the fixtures aren't as trendy and the on-site gym doesn't feature the newest equipment, it's been the perfect place to live.
The apartment itself is very spacious and features an outdoor balcony with a screed door. I have a washer and dryer in unit, a sizable bedroom that could probably fit a king bed, and still plenty of space for my large dog to sprawl out. It takes me about 5 minutes to get to the law school, 8 minutes to get downtown, and 5 minutes to get to Suncrest Kroger. Overall, the community is very much WVU Medicine residents and upper-level students. It's pretty quiet, well-kept, and in a walkable neighborhood.
Two things that make this apartment worthwhile - the maintenance staff and the pet-friendly policies. Generally, I have never waited more than week for a maintenance issue. For more severe issues (like a leaking garbage disposal, dryer break, or fridge replacement), it's usually same day or next within filing a request.
This place really means it when they say pet friendly. I am not aware of breed restrictions, but it is pet friendly up to 2. Dogs can be as large as 75lbs. Most animals I meet here are pleasant and friendly.
Overall - great experience. The staff is kind, thorough, and efficient, the system is organized, and the apartment is just what I needed.

Copperfield Court Review
Copperfield Court is within walking distance to the law school and the football field which is great. It has a small apartment gym and free guest and resident parking with a pass. There is an online portal to pay rent and request maintenance which is also very convenient.
