Nice view
The view from the apartment complex is beautiful. Community is a wide range of ages. Some noise from neighbors but has not been bad. Front desk is helpful.

Checks my boxes
The development is new, clean, and modern. I enjoy in-unit laundry and great views with a decent price. The biggest downside is the number of people here. It's like a small city! Overall happy with my decision.

Easy management to work with. I feel very safe. It is on the atta bus route. Wish it was a little cheaper and closer to campus but overall I’m happy with it!!

Safe, clean, friendly place to live
I love living at the links! Everyone is so friendly including the maintenance staff. The apartments are very spacious and clean with plenty of room for my puppy. There is a dog park, gym, swimming pool, walking path, and golf course. It is only 7 minutes from campus. I wouldn’t recommend walking to campus from here because there isn’t a complete sidewalk but there is an ata bus stop that goes to and from campus. I would highly recommend any family with kids or pets to consider living here. It is quiet and very safe.

Nice apartment
Overall, the apartment was spacious and nice. There's a decent amount of parking and I typically had no issues. I could sometimes hear the apartment next to me, but not the neighbors above. It's a good price for a 2 bedroom apartment and all of the amenities (gym, pool, clubhouse, etc.), but with our electric and WiFi separate, as well as waste water charges, etc., especially when COVID hit and the amenities weren't open, it felt pretty pricey. They also will keep a decent amount of your down payment (which it denotes in the lease, but is easy to miss), so be aware of that, as well.
I love that it's far from campus and the Ville from the standpoint that it is quiet and calm and doesn't have the college town feel, but a parking pass was necessary for me going to campus everyday, so that's an expense to plan for as well. Probably best for graduate students or older students who are student teaching and want a more adult place.

Noisy
Property had a variety of people living there. Some young adults, some undergrads, some military. We lived in a noisy building. Towards the end of our lease cops were called for various reasons. People frequently sped through the parking lot making it very dangerous. Broken glass was dropped on sidewalks and not cleaned up. Snow and ice removal was non existent. Loved the par 3 golf course around the complex!

Go anywhere else if possible
I wouldn’t recommend living here. I lived in a brand new apartment and during my 1 year lease the washer broke twice and the oven broke. They built these apartments extremely cheap. They had bug problems and the maintenance refused to help even though we got charged pest fees and there were wasp nests covering the outside perimeter of the apartments. It seemed like there was a lot of crime, as the cops were there about every day. My husbands wallet fell out of the car in the parking lot and got stolen less than 30 minutes after he dropped it. If you have to live there I would recommend a security camera, as there are none on the property. I have seen numerous cars with golf ball damage, but the property claims they are not liable for the damage even though they are the ones that put in a golf course right next to the parking lot. When I moved out the maintenance person I met with told me that my apartment was the cleanest he had ever seen when I left, but they still took my entire deposit and charged me $50 on top of my deposit. I have lived in a lot of different rentals and have never had that happen. Also, be prepared to pay about $50 a month in fees on top of your rent.

Standard apartment, decent neighbors
Overall, my experience at the Links was good. The apartments are fairly standard, and you can hear all of your neighbors through the walls. But, the parking and gym are included. It was difficult to find a parking spot close to the apartment building sometimes (pre-covid), but otherwise, everything was okay.

Good place for young professionals. Close enough to campus to get there in under 10 min, but not like your average college residence closer to campus
