It started with them consistently not answering my calls or emails about when I could move in. My rent at my first apartment ended in June and I needed a date I could move. When I had gotten confirmation that I had been approved for the apartment, I was told the deposit would be a standard $150. Four days before my move in date they finally returned my calls and my deposit was actually a full months worth of rent because I didn’t have a credit score at the time (I didn’t have a credit card). When I moved in there were bugs within the first week. I was consistently throughout the year but on the terminex schedule which they would come out every Wednesday. Many wednesdays they just never showed and then lied about no one answering the door when myself or my roommate were home all day at the time. The office didn’t believe me when I told them this on many different occasions. About three months before our move out date, our dryer stopped drying and they sent the maintenance guy out once even though there were many requests made and all he said was “it’s too close to the wall, why did you guys push it back?” Even though we had not touched the dryer other than to use it to dry our clothes. When the big snow of February happened last year the complex almost immediately plowed the driveway to their office specifically, but refused to plow any other parking lot so I think only residents with picks ups or lifted keeps we’re able to go to fork for the next five days-my boss had to come pick me up one of the days. They blamed me for the dog poop in the grass when I picked up my dogs waste and it got to the point that they called me to threaten to charge me extra per month and also had a maintenance guy in the parking lot watching my apartment on the weekdays for about two and a half months before they gave up. Finally for move out, they tried to charge me for anything and everything that they could think of and I had to fight them about paint, problems that were there before I moved in and I had to have picture proof for a lot of issues. Overall experience was terrible and I would never recommend anyone to live there. It was right next to a Kroger and centrals was only a seven minute drive from it though if that’s what you’re looking for.
